Joyful Moments at Lamola Children’s Camp

During the recent term 1 holidays, YWAM Kitgum had the privilege of hosting a three-day children’s camp in Lamola, bringing together over 30 excited young minds! Our goal was to create a fun and nurturing environment where kids could learn, play, and grow in their faith.

The camp was a vibrant celebration of music, drama, and creativity. We shared engaging Bible stories that sparked imagination and curiosity, teaching valuable lessons about God’s love and kindness. The kids enthusiastically participated in energetic song sessions, praising God with joy and abandon.

Dramas and skits brought laughter and excitement, while also conveying important life values and biblical principles. Our talented team ensured every child felt included and valued, fostering a sense of belonging and friendship.

But it wasn’t all about sitting down! We had action-packed football matches and other games that promoted teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical activity. The kids’ smiles and giggles were contagious as they played together, creating unforgettable memories.

Unleashing creativity, our young artists engaged in craft sessions, producing amazing works of art that showcased their talent and individuality. Each masterpiece told a story of imagination and skill, a testament to the unique gifts within each child.

The Lamola children’s camp was a heartwarming experience, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to invest in these young lives. We believe that by sowing seeds of faith, hope, and love, we’re shaping a brighter future for our community
